Carteret Sports Club’s mission is to engage the youth of the community in athletics and expand the opportunities that are available to the children and upcoming generations. Our goal is to provide a platform that will allow the kids to work off of and excel in their desired passions.
Established in 2011, Carteret Sports Club was created to encourage children to stay active and stay involved. Since then, arrays of different cultures and age groups have joined the club. Carteret Sports Club has helped develop our borough’s youth by creating more readily-available opportunities for training and competition. The club believes this development will lead to exceptional student-athletes entering high school ready to represent their association and themselves. We are very proud of our student-athletes and are striving to create a culture in which kids are training and competing year-round together.
The Carteret Sports Club Soccer Tournament was once a-daylong event and now is a two-day event that is funded by donations from the Sikh community. The event takes place over a weekend and boosts over 6,000 spectators from the tri-state area. It is a highly anticipated event in the community.
The growths of this club is being very well received throughout the community. Together our club will continue to strive in the community and get the youth involved in activities. Part of our continuation is to mentor and foster our young children to develop into outstanding adults.
